I currently limit my practice to Myofascial Release Massage, and Craniosacral Therapy.
My continued education in Craniosacral Therapy is through the Upledger Institute. I have completed Craniosacral 1 (CST1), Craniosacral 2 (CST2), and Somatoemotional Release 1 (SER1), and Somatoemotional Release 2 (SER2), and Craniosacral Therapy and the Immune Response (CSIR). I have also been a Teaching Assistant for Craniosacral Therapy 1 ( CST1).
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands on method of evaluation of the craniosacral system; the system comprised of the the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) enhances the body’s natural healing abilities to improve the operation of the central nervous system, dissipate the negative effects of stress, and strengthen the immune system.
Myofascial Release Massage (MFR) is a form of deeper tissue massage in which no lubricant is used to enhance the ability to really pull apart stuck together areas in individual muscles, as well as multiple muscle groups. This therapy is more site specific, and therefore, not full body work. Sustained pressure is the key to success in this modality.
